We hung the work on Friday for the annual Members Show at the History
Center - 781 Pearson St.,and it is full of varied wonderful creative works from
our members.
Make sure you stop in to see it and come to the reception on Thursday,
Feb. 13 from 5 - 8 PM to meet the artists and mingle with our art community.
Trying to finish works started is a goal....but other ideas always pop up and
it is exciting to stretch the boundaries and see what you can do with different
materials - what works and what doesn't.
With so much available at my fingertips, sometimes it's hard to focus. With
the cold weather, it's hard to warm up! But the days are getting. longer and
spring will appear as it always does. Really looking forward to sowing seeds
and making the garden a big part of each day. Winter sowing is the buzz - I
use my cold frame and I'm so delighted when anything grows during the
winter months.
Working with some watercolors now - beautiful colors, abstract images, and
thread, sewing machine and scissors - we will see what happens next!
